LA着物クラブでは、クラブ主催のミス着物LAとミスター着物LAコンテストを、昨年同様元旦に小東京で開催します！
また、下記の要項で応募者を大募集。一年間に亙って和の心＝日本の着物の美をアメリカの人々に伝える親善使節を務めてみませんか？貴重な経験、さまざまな人のとの出逢いがあなたを待っています。

応募要項

●応募資格

ミスター着物LA：着物で参加可能な18歳以上の男性（未婚・既婚は問いません）。

ミス着物LA：着物で参加可能な18歳以上の未婚女性。

●優勝賞品・
ミス着物LA：$1,000相当の振袖と袋帯と賞状の授与、4回の着物レッスンそして３年間の無料LA着物クラブ年会費の特典。

準ミス着物LA：$100のギフト券、賞状の授与、３年間の無料年会費の特典。

ミスター着物LA：賞金＄100と日本酒１本、賞状授与と３年間の無料年会費の特典。

●公式イベント(モントレーパーク桜祭、二世ウィークパレード等々)に着物親善使節として参加していただき、ミス着物のみ２月と３月の間に４回で着装可能になるよう無料レッスンを提供します。又、全応募者は1年間のLA着物クラブ無料年会費の特典があります。

	Hi, we are looking volunteers and attendees for the Huntington Beach Japanese Cultural Festival on March 29 in support of our Sister City Association with Anjo, Japan. We are seeking info about a booth for visitors to try on Kimonos either for free or a small fee during the festival.

MR. & MISS KIMONO LA CONTEST
LA Kimono Club /LA着物クラブ

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 1, 2014

All contestants must sign-up before December 21, 2013. Registration forms are available on the LA

Kimono Club website at : lakimonoclub.com/Mr.Miss Kimono 2014. Registration is $10.00 per contestant.

To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years-old. All registered contestants will check-in at the LA Kimono

Club booth at Japanese Village Plaza in Little Tokyo. Judging will begin at 11:15 AM.

Each contestant will showcase their kimono by walking solo, “striking a pose”, and doing a full turn for

judges. Judging includes Japanese kimono experts who will evaluate the type of kimono, as well as how

beautifully it’s showcase and worn. There are no restrictions on the type of kimono, however additional credit

is awarded to traditional kimonos.

Winners will be announced at 1:00 PM at Noguchi Plaza, Winner will be presented at Weller Court during

the annual Kimono Fashion Show at Little Tokyo’s “Oshogatsu” celebration.

AWARDS & PRIZES

Miss Kimono LA will receive a Furisode and Obi ($1,000 value), certificate, tiara, and 3-year membership to

LA Kimono Club, 4 times free kimono lessons between February and March.

Miss Kimono LA First Runner-up will receive $100, Kimono bag , certificate, tiara, and 3-year membership

to LA Kimono Club.

Mr. Kimono LA will receive $100, 1 Bottle of Sake, certificate, and 3-year membership to LA Kimono

Club.

All participants will receive 1-year membership to LA Kimono Club.
